Certification is critical to advancing your cybersecurity career in the DC Metro area. This 100% online course will prepare you for CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification. You will master the five CASP domains: risk management, security architecture, security operations, security integration, and research and development.

Hardware Requirements:

  • This course can be taken on either a PC or Mac.

Software Requirements:

  • PC: Windows 8 or newer.
  • Mac: OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 or later.
  • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge and Safari are also compatible.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Software must be installed and fully operational before the course begins.

Other:

  • Email capabilities and access to a personal email account.

+ Prerequisites

While there are no prerequisites to take this course, CompTIA recommends a minimum of ten years of experience in IT administration with at least five years of hands-on technical security experience.
