Discover Discounts and Promotions
The George Mason Continuing Professional Education (CPE) unit offers discounts for the online CPE programs to Mason Alumni, employees, and groups of people who book the same course. Discounts, promotions, scholarships, etc. cannot be combined, so choose the best offer to receive the lowest cost of your program.

Discounts
If three or more of a company's employees register for the same non-credit course, a 10% discount is available. Please contact Group Training at grptrain@gmu.edu or (703) 993-2109.
Mason alumni, including former Continuing and Professional Education students, are eligible to receive preferred pricing for many of the Continuing and Professional Education courses and certificates with a 10% discount. We support your work at Mason and your continued education. The Mason Professional Development Program was developed to help assist staff with their training and development needs.
Through the generosity of our partners and instructors, CPE can offer up to a 50% discount to currently employed, full-time faculty and staff for a variety of courses.

Under the Code of Virginia § 23.1-640, Virginia residents 60 years or older may enroll in up to three non-credit continuing education courses per academic term (July 1 through June 30) without payment of instruction-related fees if space is available.*
This exemption does not apply to out-of-pocket expenses such as food and course materials or lab fees associated with non-credit continuing education programs. Likewise, this exemption does not apply to programs specifically targeted for, or attended by, senior citizens. The exemption is not available for all programs.
Be sure to select "Other Form of Payment" when you check out and an enrollment advisor will reach out to finish your registration process and obtain a copy of your Virginia Driver's License or State ID. *According to the Senior Citizen's Higher Education Act: "Senior Citizen means any person who, before the beginning of any term, semester or quarter in which such person claims entitlement to the benefits of this chapter, (i) has reached 60 years of age, and (ii) has had a legal domicile in this Commonwealth for one year" (Code of VA 23-38.55).
