Continuing and Professional Education (CPE) Prepares You for Certification Exams
CPE offers certification preparatory courses towards earning an industry certification. To achieve an industry certification associated with CPE preparatory courses, students will need to schedule their exam with an approved provider for their 'cert' and successfully pass the exam. These courses are offered in partnership with industry leaders and the certifications are issued by the approved certification provider for each type.
- George Mason University's CPE offers certification prep courses but is not the final step in earning a certification.
- CPE offered prep courses provide students with industry certification exam information.
- CPE offers several certification preparatory courses in high-demand certifications.
- Certifications are different than a Certificate of Completion. Certifications are awarded by industry providers, when you pass the exam (not offered by George Mason University). A Certificate of Completion is awarded by George Mason University.
- All students upon successful completion receive a Certificate of Completion from George Mason University. Additionally, individuals may choose to take the certification exam.
