Responsible AI: Design, Development, and Use
Overview
Responsible AI (RAI) is a critical framework that ensures artificial intelligence (AI) systems are designed, developed, and deployed responsibly, with trust and safety as a primary consideration, alongside ethical and legal use. As AI becomes increasingly pervasive across various domains, including business, healthcare, transportation, the military and education, it is essential that we prioritize responsible principles, policies, and practices. Through interactive sessions led by AI scholars, industry experts, and thought leaders, this RAI 3-day short course ensures managers and senior personnel have the critical knowledge, skills, and analytical abilities needed to identify and address opportunities and challenges in the design, development, and deployment of systems that incorporate AI.
Learn how to manage the risks while promoting the benefits!
What You Will Learn:
Discover the fundamentals of AI, how AI systems are built, the principles of systems engineering as they relate to AI systems, theories of AI safety and risk, how to test and evaluate such systems to meet risk thresholds, and how to identify ethical, legal, and regulatory issues that arise in such systems.
Prepare to develop and manage complex systems with embedded AI, including identifying unique requirements for systems and defining and maintaining safe levels of performance for deployed AI.
Learn how to advance acquisition plans for complex systems with embedded AI and develop AI maintenance programs including auditing.
Who Should Apply:
If you work in safety-critical physical systems like defense, self-driving cars, air taxis and health applications, as well as software-based systems like financial and banking systems, and those in education and research, this certificate will help you gain and improve critical skills.
