You are invited to attend the AFRL/AFOSR Fall Showcase scheduled 2-5 November 2026 located at George Mason University – Vernon Smith Hall, 3434 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201. We will offer in-person and virtual attendance options.

Event Description

This engagement serves as a high-impact forum to discuss, celebrate, and advance basic science across six critical technology areas vital to the Department of the Air Force (DAF). The event is structured to bridge visionary future contexts with specific, ongoing research projects, restricted to a secure audience of government and government contractor personnel.

The six focus areas are (1) AI & Autonomy (2) Quantum (3) Space (4) Biotechnology (5) Directed Energy and (6) Hypersonics.

Registration Information

  • Event is by invitation only.
  • Registration deadline is 23 October 2026. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
  • Advance registration is required for all attendees (in person or virtual).
  • This event is considered an “all hands” meeting for all AFRL/AFOSR personnel. Maximum in person participation is highly encouraged if it falls within your regular duty day.
  • A final confirmation notice titled, “Know Before You Go” will be sent via email ~ 27 October 2026. Virtual connection details will be shared in this email.

Food and Beverages

  • All day beverages (coffee, soda, water), assorted snacks and lunch arrangements will be made on your behalf if you elect to participate in the F&B landing fee.
  • A landing fee of $25 (Mon, Wed & Thu) and $10 (Tue) is requested in advance to provide food and beverages. Landing fees are optional but HIGHLY encouraged to limited time.
  • Advance payments are due NLT 23 October 2026. Registration and confirmation emails will include digital methods for Cash App, Venmo, PayPal and Zelle.
  • Cancellation/refund policy: Full refund will be provided to those who cancel in writing to Cindy Barner before 23 October 2026. Full/Partial refunds will be on a case-by-case determination after deadline.
