Digital credentials offered by Mason Continuing and Professional Education

A new way to indicate your accomplishments, skills, and knowledge

George Mason University has partnered with a digital badging provider to offer our students the opportunity to earn and share digital badges. Our new digital badge program is designed to assist our students with validating and differentiating their skills, and providing tools to tell their professional story.

Digital Badge Pricing

Continuing and Professional Education contracts with a digital badge credential provider on an annual basis. Though our aim is to provide badging services at no cost, CPE is not funded by the university and will therefore need to pass along some costs associated with issuing digital credentials.

The following pricing schedule has been established for Mason Units interested in micro-credential badge issuance. Pricing will be reviewed on an annual basis. A Purchase Order (PO) will be circulated according to services requested. Once the finalized list of badge earners has been provided to CPE, the Academic Unit will be invoiced for the appropriate fee according to the actual number of badges issued .

This pricing schedule applies to Mason Units interested in digital badge issuance only. For Mason Units partnering with CPE for the delivery of any services related to the micro-credential, pricing will be included in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding. Data Analytics KSAs
